I’m Emily; wife to Keith, mother of two beautiful boys and a lover of all things crochet. I was first exposed to crochet as a young girl; when my Grandmother taught me how to make my first potholder. I have many happy childhood memories of road trips passed with small crochet projects.
Unfortunately, I took a crochet ‘hiatus’ during my teenage years but never lost my desire to pick a hook back up.
In my early twenties, I connected with a close friend who offered to ‘re-teach’ me the basics. A few lessons later, I had completed my first (crooked) baby blanket for another friend’s baby shower. Though the result was far from perfect, I was ‘hooked’ and have continued to learn and craft ever since. Along the way, I have connected with some amazingly talented crocheters and I continue to learn. As I have grown, I have also discovered a passion for sharing this learning with others; and through my blog, hope to help inspire others to learn, create and connect around this beautiful craft.
