Boo-tiful Crochet Halloween Pillow | Part 5
Hello and welcome to the wrap-up post for my Boo-tiful Crochet Halloween Pillow CAL; I hope you had as much fun as I did crafting this spooky duo as I did! Â New to the CAL? Not to worry, you can check the previous posts with graphs, word charts and instructions here: Part One, Part Two, Part Three, and Part Four.
Supplies:
1. Worsted Weight Yarn in the color of your choice, or snag the yarn I used here.
2. Yarn Needle
3. Scissors
4. Pillow Form (Mine was 12 inches by 12 inches).
5. Two completed crochet panels.
Step 1:
Measure your completed panel and buy the correct size pillow form. Â For my pillows, I used a 12-inch by 12-inch pillow form. Once you have your panels and pillow, it’s a good idea to check fit before you start stitching the edges.
My tension and gauge tend to run tight, so after completing my SC edge; I opted to add an additional round of HDC as pictured below.
Step 2:
Next, you will stitch your edges along three sides; you can use slip stitch, single crochet or sew them together with a yarn needle as pictured below.
Step 3:
Insert your Pillow Form, and sew the final edge shut.
Step 4:
Tie off and weave in your ends!
Wrapping up this spooky project is quick and easy; which is a bonus since Halloween is just around the corner! But feel free to reach out if you run into issues or have questions by leaving me a comment below. Happy Hooking!
Love your creation can’t wait to start it.
