I love the colors and look of this completed panel, which will form the top of our Christmas afghan. The upcoming designs are equally as beautiful! Want to sneak a peek at the full design, or need more information to get started? Check out a preview and additional information here. You can also find Part II of the CAL here. Feel free to leave any comment or questions below. Happy Hooking!

yes in this pattern you didn’t tell how much yarn you would need for this projest. love this and i’m gonna give it a try.
Thank you for reaching out. I’m still learning how to accurately estimate yarn quantities for pattern writing. But while working on this first panel I used approx. .25 Skein of Green and White, .75 Skein of Black, .5 Skein of Red, and 1.5 Skeins of Soft Gray.
looking forward to this, it will be my first attempt at a graph, but how much yarn do I need to get
I am still learning how to estimate yarn quantities for pattern writing; but for me, the first panel took .25 Skein of Green and White, .75 Skein of Black, .5 Skein of Red, and 1.5 Skein in Gray. The top and bottom panels will need the most gray so I recommend you grab several of these to get started!
when will the 2nd one be posted?
The next panel is scheduled for release on Wednesday. Thanks!
ok. So i see that you have to purchase this pattern for this afghan. but i”m not finding anywhere to purchase it or let me know the price of it. Can some one help me out.
No purchase required. The afghan is made up of 6 sections which will be posted one at a time on Wednesdays/Saturdays. Each post will have the graph, and written instructions for the panel released. Please feel free to contact me using the contact form if I can help further. Thank you! ????
Thanks for info about yarn amought . When can we expect to get a peek at the next panel.
I have just written up a post with a preview of the full graph, release details, and more specific yarn estimates. Thanks!
Hello Emily can I still find Part 1 of this thank you xx
The post above is Part I of this project; Part II and follow up parts will be released in their own post. If you have additional questions, please feel free to email me via the contact form or at pixelperfectcrochet@gmail.com. Thank you!
You are awesome. So happy I ran across this. I am teaching myself how to Crochet, working on 4 corner to corner throws. I want to create a few corner to corner granny squares that each have 8Bit Super Mario characters. Do you have or know where to look for the pattern? I was thinking of just cheating by making the squares and use fabric markers.
Your idea with fabric markers would work. But if you want a crochet design there are some amazing Super Mario graphgans out there. Pinterest is a great ‘go to’ when looking for something specific. Good Luck!
It looks like it’s going to be a gorgeous afghan. Looking forward to seeing each release. I’m working on my own C2C Gingerbread Blanket but looking forward to adding this to my list of projects I want to make.
Thank you. A gingerbread design sounds amazing for the holiday season!
